Brown's funeral honors, 25 Feb. 1828; and three letters received by Joseph W. Brown from William Waffle and D. Ormsby, DePauville, N.Y., Feb. 1871, regarding the provenance of Maj. Gen. Brown's sword, worn during the battle of Sackett's Harbor.
