Brown, regarding the need for tents and kettles, with some detail on military affairs. Also, instructions of the Adjutant General's Office regarding Maj. Gen. Brown's funeral honors, 25 Feb. 1828; and three letters received by Joseph W. Brown from William Waffle and D. Ormsby, DePauville, N.Y., Feb. 1871, regarding the provenance of Maj. Gen. Brown's sword, worn during the battle of Sackett's Harbor.
